AMCHAM VN Scholarship 2017

Very honored to have a part in the American Chamber of Commerce's Scholarship Program as one of the panel's interviewers.  There is such incredible young talent in Vietnam, doing incredible things with very limited resources.  Each of the four candidates myself and my co-panelists met were truly inspiring, creative and hard working.  They have the drive and skill to succeed but it is programs like the AMCHAM Scholarship which help to give them exposure to the International business community and financial assistance.  Learn more about this great program here.

Pictured:  Myself, Ms. Nhu, Ms. Trang and one of the scholarship candidates, Mr. Thai An.  Thai An has been working in his university on AI and has won awards from Google for his development work.  He had lugged the largest laptop I have ever seen to the interview just to show us a youtube video of an object recognition system he had created.  Incredible tenacity and spirit.
